The purpose of the Foundation for Economic Education’s regional committees is to promote the association’s activities and raise its profile in their respective regions, as well as to support the Fund’s operations.
The regional committees play a significant role in the association’s membership and fundraising efforts. In addition, regional activities help maintain strong ties with economic research and education units and the local business community.
The most significant annual event for the regional committees is the annual meeting organized by each committee for its members and for those interested in the activities of the Foundation for Economic Education. At the annual meeting, our members living in each regional committee’s area elect the chairperson and other members of the regional committee from among themselves.
